We had an affordable meal at Thai Basil on West Broadway. This place is very affordable. Our Order: Deep Fried Tofu Green Curry with Japanese Eggplants and Chicken Pad Khing with Beef Thai Iced Tea Thai Iced Coffee Jasmine Rice Here are two dishes I highly recommend: Deep-fried tofu ($6.50) is crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and absolutely addictive! It's perfect as a starter or a snack. Green curry with Japanese eggplants and chicken ($12.25) is creamy and flavourful, with just the right amount of spice. It's a must-try for curry lovers! Overall, Thai Basil Restaurant offers excellent value for money and Thai flavours. Food: Can Try! Service: Kids: A-Ok for kids. Price: Average $30 per person (dinner) Presentation: Parking: Street parking available in the neighbourhood Tips: Great value for quick Thai food on the go. Small venue with limited seating (max four tables). Order at the counter, and they'll bring the food to your table. Lots of takeout orders and fast service. Would I Return: Maybe

Went there on a Sunday night, started getting busy as soon as 5 and we sat outside. There were a lot of takeout so we waited for about 20 mins for the food. I ordered a tom yum koong which was way too salty my friends’ stir-fries and curries looked better tho might give those a try next time. But really not asking for much considering the price

I really like That Basil. I've been to some of their other locations and their food is consistently good. This location in Kits is small and you order at the counter. It can get cold inside though. It's a rather casual eatery with only 6 tables. The $12.95 lunch combo with rice salad and spring roll is an amazing price in this age. We ordered the Green Curry Chicken and the Pad Khing Beef along with some Thai Iced Tea and Fish Cakes ($4.75). The fish cakes had really good flavour. The rest of the food had a medium spice level that grows over time. I would seriously eat here more often if it was closer to where I lived.

I always love Thai Basil, it's my favourite Thai food place in all of Vancouver. I always go for massaman Curry, (number 19 on the menu), but they recommended trying the Khao Soi because I like Curry and it was so delicious! (Apparently customers keep asking them to bring it back when they try to take it off the menu, because it's so popular). The service was very friendly and excellent!

Wonderful local family run resto. Always busy and sometimes tricky to get a seat since the inside is small, but it usually works out! Food is awesome, fast, delicious, and very affordable. This is totally a neighbourhood place to return again and again. Take out and pickup orders seem very popular in particular. Will be back often!
